‘In 2023 the Temporary Penetrable Exhibition Space project was exhibited at De Garage, in Mechelen (BE). In a great coincidence, the original T.P.ES. 02 had opened just a two-minute walk from the current exhibition space. I decided to investigate the state of the original location and found the building demolished. Talking to passers-by I learned that the building had stood vacant for over 15 years and had been demolished in the last two years. It was a good moment to reopen the location and maybe it could be the start of a new series called “Temporary Penetrable Exhibition Spaces Revisited”.’ PVW
