To Get the Idea of It is a collage of collected texts that represent certain core ideas in Van Wolputte’s work. These include self-written texts as well as quotations from other sources, including The Architectural Uncanny and T.A.Z.: The Temporary Autonomous Zone. The collage deals with themes of reuse, the appropriation of forgotten places and the artistic function such places can have.
