An intervention which morphed into a site-specific video installation made for the 9th ELIA Biennale Conference in 2006, split over two floors.
In-Depth Study is the search for an underground tunnel underneath the Citadel Park in Ghent, which starts out at Poort Napoleon and leads to the Ghent Military Hospital.
‘While digging, I was told that for security reasons the public was not allowed in the basement. Once I found out about this, it became a chance to play with fiction and reality. I installed some cameras and television monitors so that the public could watch the digging and research happening below them.’ PVW
